"Hogwarts Legacy" to Launch on Nintendo Switch 2 Simultaneously on June 5

Warner Bros. has announced that the popular action - role playing game "Hogwarts Legacy" will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025, coinciding with the console's launch.

 

This new Switch 2 version of "Hogwarts Legacy" comes with a host of enhancements. It will support NVIDIA DLSS technology, which significantly improves the game's graphics. In docked mode, the game can achieve a resolution of up to 1440p, while in handheld mode, it offers a full 1080p resolution with HDR support. The game also features improved lighting and shadows, along with anti - aliasing techniques, providing players with a more immersive and visually appealing experience of the magical world.

 

Another exciting aspect is that the Switch 2 version will support multi - platform functions, including mouse controls, allowing players to choose their preferred gaming style. However, it should be noted that the physical version will come in the form of a game - key card, and players will need to have 24GB of free space to download the game data.

 

Set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, "Hogwarts Legacy" allows players to explore the magnificent Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and its surrounding areas in an open - world environment. They can learn spells, tame magical beasts, and engage in various quests, fully immersing themselves in the life of a wizarding student.
